The problem
Informal loans between friends and family live in memory and chat threads. Without a record of what was lent, what was repaid, and what proof exists, reminders feel awkward and disagreements are hard to settle.
What we shipped
LendAFriend gives every loan a clear ledger: receipts, screenshots, voice notes, and video as proof; monthly installments with variable interest; reminders before and after due dates; and PDF or Excel statements ready to share on WhatsApp. It works offline, locks with a PIN, fingerprint, or Face ID, and runs without a backend — optional Google sign-in syncs data and media to the user's own Drive.
