The problem
Classic games online usually come with accounts, ads, and app-store installs — and real-time multiplayer on phones tends to break the moment a screen locks or the Wi-Fi drops. The goal was a version anyone can open from a link and play with a friend in seconds.
What we shipped
Battleship runs entirely in the browser with no accounts or downloads. One player hosts and shares an invite link; the match connects peer-to-peer over WebRTC, reconnects on its own after a dropped connection, and lets a player whose page reloads rejoin where they left off. Solo players work through a campaign from Cadet Pip, who fires at random, to the Kraken's eight-ship armada on a 15×15 abyss. The whole game builds to a single self-contained file.
